A 25-year-old man from Timișoara has been detained for the rape of two minors, aged 14 and 12, and for child pornography.

A 25-year-old man from Timișoara has been detained by DIICOT prosecutors for rape and child pornography, being accused of having sexual relations with two minors, aged 14 and 12. According to the investigation, in August 2024, the man allegedly convinced a 14-year-old girl to have sexual relations with him, during which he created pornographic materials. Additionally, between May 2022 and July 2024, he allegedly coerced another victim, aged 12, to engage in sexual relations, which he filmed. The judge for rights and freedoms at the Timișoara Tribunal has been notified to decide on his preventive arrest for 30 days.
