Tamila Cristescu, daughter of former PSD MP Radu Cristescu, has been removed from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after she posted a T-shirt with an obscene message addressed to Minister Oana Țoiu. Seconded to the Romanian Consulate in New York, Cristescu had a short professional career, having previously worked at the Sector 4 City Hall. The ministry emphasized that appointments in the foreign service must meet clear criteria of competence. Radu Cristescu confirmed that he hired her at the City Hall, and that she was subsequently posted to New York.
