Stelian Bujduveanu, the interim mayor of the Capital, stated that investments in the heating network in Bucharest are progressing well, with 50 km of pipes replaced this year and a target of 200 km by the end of the year. Bucharest has the largest centralized heating system after Moscow, but it needs significant repairs. Bujduveanu emphasized the importance of reinvesting funds from electricity sales into local infrastructure. Problems with hot water are related to the lack of investment in the networks, but the mayor promises continuous improvements.
