On section 3 of the Ploiești-Buzău Highway (A7), measuring 13.9 km, the progress of the works has reached 81%, according to Cristian Pistol, the director of CNAIR. The association of Turkish contractors, consisting of Nurol and Makyol, is working with 319 workers and 229 machines on earthworks and the arrangement of road junctions. Traffic on this section is scheduled to be opened by the end of 2025, and the contract for the works was signed in November 2023, with a value of 1.24 billion lei, financed through PNRR.
