The Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) states that it has obtained Parliament's approval for the contract with Digi, worth 196 million euros, aimed at developing an integrated LLM-type platform for cybersecurity.

The project, part of the SAFE program, will be fully implemented in Romania over the course of four years.

SRI emphasized that the decision to collaborate with Digi was made in accordance with applicable legislation and that the platform will address the needs for strengthening cybersecurity, aiming to automate incident analysis processes.

The project aligns with the national cybersecurity strategy and is part of an investment plan approved by the CSAT, which allocates 16.68 billion euros for military equipment and dual-use infrastructure. Digi confirmed that the agreement includes hardware and software components, being carried out in phases.
