Sorin Grindeanu clarifies his connection to the 'Nordis' scandal

The leader of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that he has nothing to hide regarding the 'Nordis' scandal, emphasizing that his interactions with the involved parties are of a personal nature and have no connection to business. Grindeanu mentioned that he collaborated with the authorities to provide the necessary documents for the investigation and highlighted that he was the initiator of the 'Nordis' law, recently adopted in Parliament, which aims to clarify aspects in the real estate sector.

He rejected any accusations of collusion with the law and encouraged those who have suspicions to file complaints. The adopted law is not related to the case in which the heads of Nordis are being investigated, but aims to protect future buyers. Grindeanu was involved in the 'Nordis' scandal in the context of flights with a private plane rented by the company, but emphasized that he had no business dealings with it.
