Following the suspension of water supply in the municipality of Câmpina, an anonymous person donated 3,450 liters of drinking water, which is available for the residents of the city at the Fire Department headquarters. The water crisis was caused by the draining of Lake Paltinu for dredging works, and recent rains have affected the quality of the remaining water, making its treatment impossible.

Although the authorities promised a quick resolution, deadlines have been extended, and 12 localities in Prahova, including the town of Moreni in Dâmbovița, are facing a lack of water. Residents are queuing to obtain water from the tanks sent by the Emergency Situations Inspectorate, and the hospital in Câmpina has suspended admissions due to low water pressure. The authorities have opened a dispatch center to manage the issues caused by this crisis.
