Metrorex reported considerable progress in the M6 metro construction works in June. On the South section, TBMs advanced in the execution of the tunnels to Băneasa Airport, and significant excavations and concreting were carried out at Băneasa Station and Montreal Square stations. On the North section, work on the Ion I.C. Brătianu station and Otopeni Airport continues according to plan. The M6 project will include 12 stations and 12 new trains, covering a route of 14.2 km.
