A report from the Ministry of Education's Control Body revealed serious irregularities at the County School Inspectorate (ISJ) Constanța, including unjustified reimbursements of over 35 million lei, representing 792 checks issued by the Constanța Treasury.

These amounts were not correctly recorded in the institution's cash register, but were included in the financial-administrative documents as expenses. The control body found a lack of supporting documents and the deterioration of others, recommending the notification of the General Prosecutor's Office and the DNA. Additionally, the report highlighted the illegal dismissal of a kindergarten director and leaks of personal information from the admission committee of an educational institution. Claudia Portase, the new general school inspector, confirmed that a criminal investigation is underway and mentioned that the recommended measures are being implemented.
