A pregnant woman was seriously injured in an accident on DN 24, her husband died on the spot.

On Tuesday, on DN 24, in Iași County, a serious road accident occurred involving two cars. A 40-year-old man, the driver of one of the vehicles, died on the spot, while his wife, a 35-year-old pregnant woman, was seriously injured.

She was taken by a SMURD helicopter to be transported to a specialized medical unit. The other driver, aged 35, was assessed and transported by an ambulance crew, being conscious and stable. ISU crews intervened to ensure fire prevention measures and to manage the situation at the accident site, while traffic was blocked in both directions.
