The Mayor of Sector 2, Rareș Hopincă, announced the approval of co-financing for the Dinamo Multifunctional Arena with 25% of the construction costs, equivalent to 125 million lei (approximately 25 million euros). This amount will be transferred to the National Investment Company (CNI) in installments, with 37 million lei by the end of the year and 43 million lei next year. Additionally, the Dinamo Sports Park will be reopened for the community, featuring a new 20-hectare park that will include a 2-kilometer running track and areas for sports and recreation. The project aims not only at the construction of the stadium but also at a long-term partnership between the local administration and CS Dinamo, with the goal of promoting mass sports and improving the sports infrastructure of the sector. The new arena will be a modern sports complex, UEFA certified, with 25,000 seats and facilities for athletes.
