The coach of the University of Cluj, Cristiano Bergodi, has been suspended for one month and fined 10,000 lei, while player Andrei Cordea received a three-match suspension.

The Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Football Federation has decided to sanction the coach of Universitatea Cluj, Cristiano Bergodi, with a one-month suspension and a sports penalty of 10,000 lei, following the incidents that occurred at the Cluj derby.

Additionally, player Andrei Cordea from CFR Cluj has been suspended for three matches and fined 5,000 lei. The CFR Cluj club has received a penalty of 15,000 lei, while Universitatea Cluj has been fined 10,000 lei. The incident took place immediately after the final whistle of the match, in which CFR Cluj defeated Universitatea Cluj 3-2, when Bergodi entered the field and had a conflict with Cordea, attempting to hit him.
