Sameday has completed the full acquisition of the courier company Cargus

Sameday has completed the acquisition of Cargus, thus becoming the sole owner of the courier company starting from August 3, after the transaction was approved by the Competition Council. Lucian Baltaru, CEO of Sameday Group, stated that the operational integration will involve aligning delivery networks, teams, and internal systems, aiming to provide a unified service tailored to market demands.

Sameday, with 18 years of experience and a team of over 6,000 employees, aims through this acquisition to strengthen national coverage and increase delivery efficiency. Cargus, founded in 1991, has gone through several ownership changes and merged with Urgent Curier in 2015, returning to the name Cargus in 2019. Additional details about the integration will be communicated throughout the process. Sameday, with a business of 1.2 billion lei, aims to become a leader in the courier market in Romania.
