On the night of November 23 to 24, the Russian Federation carried out new drone attacks on civilian and port infrastructure targets in Ukraine, near the border with Romania. The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) reported that radar systems detected aerial targets in the direction of Ismail, which led to the scramble of two Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft from the Air Police service. Although the drones disappeared from radar, explosions were reported in Ismail, without any incursions into Romanian airspace. Subsequently, at 01:45, new aerial targets were detected, and two F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft of the Romanian Air Forces were dispatched on a mission. Romanian pilots observed several targets near Ismail, but did not report any incursions into Romanian airspace.
