Romsilva said it is acting quickly to remedy the irregularities flagged by the Court of Accounts, which revealed undue payments and poor asset management. The regia awarded 216.5 million lei to employees following exceptional financial results in 2021 and 2022, but the environment minister emphasized that these rewards were not properly justified. Romsilva is self-financing and has contributed significantly to the state budget, but needs to improve its resource management.
