The Romanian police chief has asked officers to find volunteers willing to go to Mures county to search for Emil Gânj, accused of killing his ex-girlfriend. The Europol union pointed out that this volunteering is unpaid and sparked humorous reactions from the public. Emil Gânj is suspected of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's house with an axe on July 8 and setting the house on fire after the murder. Police have advised citizens not to interact with him and to call 112 if they notice him.
