The Romanian Navy Day will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, at six o'clock in the country, with a special emphasis on Constanța, where the participation of over 3,500 Romanian and foreign military personnel is expected.
The military ceremony and the naval exercise 'Romanian Naval Forces 26.10' will begin at 10:00, on the promenade and in the maritime area in front of the Fleet Command. The exercise will include over 50 ships and vessels, 15 military and civilian aircraft, as well as artillery equipment. The Romanian Naval Forces will be represented by 42 ships, including the frigates 'Mărășești', 'Regele Ferdinand' and 'Regina Maria', and will feature, for the first time, ships that have recently entered service.
The air component will be provided by helicopters and planes of the Romanian Air Forces, as well as aircraft from the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. This event promises to be memorable, marking the contribution of the Romanian Naval Forces to national security.
