President Nicușor Dan congratulated the high school students from the Velocity team at "Gheorghe Munteanu Murgoci" High School in Brăila who achieved remarkable results at the "FIRST Tech Challenge" World Championship held in Houston, USA. While in Yerevan to participate in various events, Dan wanted to highlight the performance of the four Romanian teams that won the top four places in this prestigious international competition.


"Congratulations to the Romanian students from the national robotics team who participated in the "FIRST Tech Challenge" World Championship in Houston, USA, and won the top four places in this prestigious international competition.


I met some of them in April when they were at the training camp at the West University of Timișoara, and I was impressed by their energy and creativity.


The Velocity team from "Gheorghe Munteanu Murgoci" High School in Brăila won the "FIRST Tech Challenge" World Championship.


The Heart of RoBots team from "B. P. Hasdeu" National College in Buzău won second place.


The Quantum Robotics team from the International Computer Science High School in Bucharest won third place.


The AiCitizens team from "Al. I. Cuza" National College in Focșani won fourth place.


Romania is proud of you!" said President Nicușor Dan on his Facebook page.
