On October 25, Romania's Army Day will be marked by ceremonies in the main garrisons across the country, as well as in military bases abroad and operational theaters. In Bucharest, the program includes ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Monument of the Heroes of the Homeland, and the Monument of the Fallen Heroes, with wreath-laying and aerial flyovers. Interactive activities and exhibitions will take place at AFI Cotroceni, and the evening will culminate with a retreat with torches.
The Traffic Brigade will impose traffic restrictions to ensure the smooth conduct of the events, and similar ceremonies will take place in cities such as Cluj-Napoca, Iași, and Satu Mare. The Ministry of Defense will also organize an Open Doors Day, cultural activities, and meetings with veterans. This day commemorates the sacrifices of Romanian soldiers in World War II, when over 540,000 soldiers were deployed to the front.
