Romania will benefit from €6 billion from the Social Climate Fund to help families affected by energy and transport price rises. These funds will be used to improve living conditions through insulation works and the installation of energy efficient solutions such as heat pumps and solar panels. It will also invest in accessible transport by purchasing minibuses and developing the necessary infrastructure to ensure the mobility of remote communities. Public consultations will be held to adapt the program to the real needs of citizens.
