Funds will be allocated for the National Integrated Plan in the field of Energy and Climate Change (PNIESC) 2021-2030, which aims to fulfill Romania's commitments to the European Union.

The plan includes objectives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, utilizing renewable energy sources, and integrating energy efficiency into economic policies. The program will facilitate investments in sustainable heating and cooling infrastructure and will strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Energy to implement state aid.

In the context of the energy transition, Romania prioritizes the necessary investments and reforms to ensure the sustainability and security of the energy system, in accordance with the Energy Strategy 2025-2035 and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
