Sebastian Burduja says Romania benefits from some of the lowest energy prices in the EU and an increasingly diversified production, with exports of almost 1100 MW. Wind and nuclear contribute significantly to production, while photovoltaics are growing fast. While coal and gas provide stability, Burduja warns of the risks of relying on intermittent renewables. He stresses that investment in infrastructure is key to maintaining competitive prices and energy security.
