After the ECOFIN meeting, Alexandru Nazare stated that Romania is no longer in danger of losing European funds for next year, emphasizing their importance for economic growth. The measures taken by the Government have begun to have positive effects, and Romania needs to absorb as many available funds as possible. Additionally, Nazare discussed with his counterparts from Bulgaria and Greece about smuggling with cigarettes, highlighting the need for cooperation among the three countries to combat this issue.
