Survey: 51% of Europeans believe there is a high risk of war with Russia in the coming years, with significant variations between countries. 48% consider Donald Trump "an enemy of Europe"

A survey published by the magazine Le Grand Continent and conducted in nine EU countries reveals that 51% of Europeans perceive a high or very high risk of war with Russia in the coming years. The study was conducted on a sample of 9,553 people from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Croatia, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Poland has the highest proportion of respondents who consider this risk, at 77%, while in Italy, 65% believe the risk is low. Additionally, 63% of respondents consider the risk of war with terrorist organizations to be high. The majority of Europeans (69%) do not trust their own countries' ability to defend against Russian aggression, and 55% support a balanced position between the United States and China.
