During the meeting, the officials discussed common strategic projects and ways to strengthen economic cooperation, highlighting the importance of the Vertical Corridor, a project aimed at enhancing energy security and generating new development opportunities. Nazare emphasized that the meeting was a useful opportunity for coordination ahead of the spring meetings of the IMF and the World Bank, where Romania will continue to advocate for economic interests and deepen collaboration with American partners. The minister reaffirmed Romania's commitment as a loyal ally and economic partner with significant potential, emphasizing the importance of constant dialogue with the United States to identify new development opportunities.
