The Austrian entrepreneur Porr Construct SRL has started asphalting on lot 4 Tigveni – Curtea de Argeș, having a physical progress of almost 80%. With 620 workers and 200 machines, the works are advancing rapidly, including at the Momaia tunnel. If the pace is maintained, traffic could be opened earlier than the contractual deadline of 2027, possibly in July-August 2026. The contract is worth 1.7 billion lei and includes technical challenges, but Porr has managed resources well, without financial claims.
