Marian Preda, Rector of the University of Bucharest, expressed concerns about the budget cuts decided by the Bolojan Government, in particular the reduction of school grants. He stressed the importance of communication between leaders and citizens to find fair solutions. Preda mentioned that the perception of double standards, generated by the exemptions from the cuts, may cause discontent among the professionals affected.
