PNL MEP Raluca Turcan said that changes to the pensions of the judiciary in Romania must be made in agreement with the judiciary, otherwise it risks being considered unconstitutional. She mentioned that during her time as Minister of Labor, she included the reform of special pensions in the PNRR, stressing the importance of collaboration between authorities to avoid a feeling of inequality in society. Turcan welcomed the Romanian President's involvement and highlighted the proposal to raise the retirement age to 65.
