Radu Oprea: “So far, no crashes of aerial vehicles have been reported / The second one (drone) was last observed in the area between Vaslui and Bacău”

Minister of National Defence Radu Oprea announced on Saturday evening that, so far, no crashes of aerial vehicles have been reported in the area monitored by the authorities, after two drones entered the national airspace. He also reported that the second drone was last observed in the region between Vaslui and Bacău.

According to the minister, the authorities are continuing surveillance and checks to establish the aircraft’s route and its situation. At this time, there is no official information confirming that the drone crashed.

Radu Oprea’s announcement updates the information regarding the operations carried out after the Ministry of National Defence announced that one of the two observed drones had left Romanian airspace and that the air alert had been lifted for all six counties.
