A public notary from Bucharest has been sent to trial for abuse of office and intellectual forgery.

A public notary woman from the Bucharest Court of Appeal jurisdiction has been sent to trial by the Prosecutor's Office next to the Bucharest Court of Appeal for abuse of office and intellectual forgery. Between October 28, 2021, and March 2, 2022, she issued a certificate of heirship in favor of a woman, based on a revoked will, known to be invalid by a previous court ruling.

The notary acted without following legal procedures, registering an inheritance file at the request of an unauthorized person and without verifying the rights of the heirs. This behavior violated the rights of the true heir. The court was also requested to annul the forged documents issued by the notary. In the same case, the woman who obtained the inheritance was also referred to justice for incitement to abuse of office and forgery.
