The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, announced in Târgoviște that the party has several options for the candidacy for the Capital City Hall and is confident that it will win the local partial elections on December 7.

Grindeanu stated that the PSD will achieve victories in Găești, Bucharest, and the Buzău County Council, emphasizing the importance of local communities' trust in candidates.

He also mentioned that the decision regarding the candidate for the Bucharest City Hall will be made soon, following internal measurements.

Among the possible candidates are the sector mayors, including Gabriela Firea and Robert Negoiță. Grindeanu participated in an extraordinary conference of the PSD Dâmbovița, where he reaffirmed the party's commitment to revving up for the elections.
