PSD leaders gathered in Timișoara for the christening of Alfred Simonis's son. Sorin Grindeanu was the godfather, while Al Bano was a special guest

Several leaders of the Social Democratic Party gathered on Saturday evening in Timișoara to attend the party organized on the occasion of the christening of Alexander, the son of Alfred Simonis, president of the Timiș County Council.

The event brought together important members of the political formation in a private setting, on the occasion of the christening of Alfred Simonis’s third son. Sorin Grindeanu, president of the PSD and of the Chamber of Deputies, served as the child’s godfather.

Italian singer Al Bano was also a special guest at the party. The participation of the Social Democratic leaders and the presence of the artist transformed the family event into a gathering with public visibility.

Alexander’s christening takes place at a time when Alfred Simonis heads the county administration in Timiș, while Sorin Grindeanu holds both the position of president of the PSD and that of president of the Chamber of Deputies.
