The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that his party is conducting measures to evaluate the chances of the candidates for the Capital City Hall. He emphasized that both Gabriela Firea and Daniel Băluță are capable colleagues who can win the elections.

Grindeanu mentioned that discussions with the two have taken place, and December 7 has been set for the start of the procedure for designating candidates within the Bucharest organization, with validation to be carried out by the National Permanent Bureau. Additionally, the interim president confirmed that the PSD is conducting several polls to determine who has the best chances of success in the elections.
