PSD accuses the blocking of the economic relaunch package due to the divergences between PNL and USR

PSD has declared that the economic relaunch package, essential for the recovery of the economy, is blocked due to internal disputes between PNL and USR. The party led by Sorin Grindeanu accuses the USR Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, of not giving the necessary approval for the adoption of the project.

The government has announced that the package will be adopted through an Emergency Ordinance next week, together with the reform of public administration. PSD calls on PNL and USR to resolve the disputes to allow for the urgent approval of the measures. Minister Darău stated that work is being accelerated to harmonize the legal provisions. PSD emphasizes that the delay in adopting the package has worsened the economic decline and that Romania urgently needs incentives to avoid a deep recession.
