The Social Democratic Party (PSD) intends to file complaints with the General Prosecutor's Office and the National Council for Combating Discrimination (CNCD) against some online content creators, accusing them of distributing materials considered discriminatory. This initiative was triggered by the viralization on social media of images and clips in which PSD leaders are associated with rodents, following a statement by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.
He used a metaphor referring to "rats" in the context of discussions about the state budget, which sparked negative reactions among online users. The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, criticized the measures announced by the prime minister, contesting their reformative nature and accusing the Government of intentions to sell profitable state companies, considering that these represent a "theft" and an "economic rodentism." Grindeanu emphasized that such actions do not constitute reforms, but mass layoffs and unjustified sales in the context of the economic crisis.
