Over the past few days, civil servants from various institutions have organized protests all over the country, unhappy with the austerity measures imposed by the Bolojan Government. The head of POT, Anamaria Gavrilă, criticized their actions, calling the threats a blackmail and underlining the negative impact of the state on development. Representatives of employees from the tax administration and other institutions demand the respect of professional and salary rights, citing difficult working conditions and lack of social dialog.
