Several hundred supporters of Mayor Dominic Fritz gathered on Wednesday evening in Victory Square in Timișoara to express their support for him, following the decision of the Constitutional Court of Romania to declare the new law regarding the National Integrity Agency (ANI) constitutional.

The protest was organized at the mayor's call on social media, and the participants, members and supporters of USR, chanted slogans such as "PSD, a disgrace!" and "Down with communism!". On their banners, the protesters wrote critical messages against PSD and expressed support for the rule of law.

Dominic Fritz conveyed a message of unity, emphasizing that he will not leave his position and urging citizens to mobilize to uphold democratic values.
