Lot 3 North of the A0 Motorway, which extends over 8.6 kilometers, has reached a physical progress of 78%, while the financial progress is only 48%. The Ministry of Transport, represented by Secretary of State Irinel Ionel Scrioșteanu, is putting pressure on the Chinese contractor China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) to complete the works as quickly as possible, so that traffic on the A0 between A2 and A3 can be possible this summer. Recently, concrete was poured at the DN3 overpass, which will have four traffic lanes, thus preparing the infrastructure for the future widening of DN3. The contract, signed on April 4, 2023, is worth 397.99 million lei, funded from European funds.
