The section 4 of the Pitești-Craiova Expressway, recently inaugurated, is facing landslides due to the heavy rains that have fallen for two weeks. The increased soil moisture has led to the deterioration of the road, and drivers and residents in the area have reported issues to the Craiova Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges. Although the contractor has been notified and the road is under warranty, authorities state that, at present, traffic is not affected. However, there is a risk that, in the event of additional precipitation, road traffic may be compromised. Addressing these issues is essential to ensure safety and traffic flow in the area.
