The police in Ilfov have opened an investigation after a video clip went viral, showing a Sri Lankan delivery driver being assaulted on a street in Popești-Leordeni. The incident occurred on November 1, following a traffic altercation, and the victim filed a complaint with the police on November 2. The Ilfov County Police Inspectorate confirmed that the assailants hurled insults and physically assaulted him. The police continue their investigations to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
