The incident in Popești-Leordeni, where a foreign delivery person was assaulted by a couple, has sparked a reaction from the National Trade Union Bloc (BNS), which has called on authorities and society to condemn violence and respect work. BNS emphasized that such behaviors are unacceptable and contradict the fundamental values of society.

Ilfov Police has opened a criminal case for assault, and BNS has announced that it offers free legal assistance to workers in the digital economy, including delivery persons and drivers. Additionally, BNS has established the Union of Digital Platform Workers (SLPD) to defend their rights, clarify their legal status, and promote fair working conditions. SLPD members will benefit from representation and support in front of platforms and authorities.
