A Glovo delivery person was assaulted by a former inmate, previously convicted for attempted murder.

A man was placed in preventive detention for 30 days after he assaulted a Glovo delivery driver, causing traumatic injuries that require 8-9 days of medical care. The incident occurred on the night of October 17, 2025, in Sector 2 of Bucharest, amid some misunderstandings related to the delivery of an order.

The aggressor, I.M.C., has a previous conviction of six years and eight months for attempted murder and was released from prison in January. The Sector 2 Court accepted the Prosecutor's request for preventive detention. Additionally, a similar incident occurred in August when another delivery driver was assaulted, and the aggressor was also arrested.
