An incident of aggression took place in Bucharest, where a 20-year-old young man attempted to steal the scooter of a Nepalese delivery person during a food delivery. The delivery person was approached on the street by the aggressor, who asked him to stop, after which he began to hit him in an attempt to steal the scooter. The young man managed to get on the scooter, but was unable to leave due to the quick intervention of several witnesses and two police officers from the Traffic Brigade nearby. The aggressor was subdued and taken to the police station, where he was held for 24 hours. This incident highlights an alarming trend of aggression against delivery workers, following another recent case in which a delivery person was beaten by a man released from prison.
