Ilie Bolojan, the Prime Minister of Romania, announced that approximately 4,500 projects out of over 15,000 funded through the PNRR have not yet been received.

During a teleconference with ministers and prefects, Bolojan emphasized the importance of completing the works in the next two weeks to benefit from funding. The projects, mostly managed by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Development, include equipment for schools, dispensaries, and the insulation of apartment buildings. The deadline for receiving the works is the end of August, and delays will lead to penalties through a reduction in European funds.

Bolojan called for the mobilization of local authorities to ensure the completion and reception of the projects, highlighting their importance for the development of national infrastructure.
