Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan says that Romania has lost funds through the PNRR due to delays in the implementation of projects.

The interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that Romania would not have lost funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) if the projects had been implemented on time.

During the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy, he highlighted that delays and negotiations have led to financial losses, including the reduction of the number of hospitals from 19 to 8. Bolojan emphasized the importance of adopting the salary law to prevent a tiered system, which could affect financial stability.

He also mentioned that the increase in the minimum wage and energy prices puts pressure on companies, which can lead to order losses. Bolojan welcomed the direction of funds from SAFE towards road infrastructure, essential for the development of disadvantaged regions.
