PNL and USR announce that they will refer the matter to the Constitutional Court and call for investigations into private-plane trips to Mykonos, where CCR judge Cristian Deliorga, former Prime Minister Victor Ponta, former Labour Minister Florin Manole, a UDMR senator, business representatives and the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry travelled in July.

PNL spokesperson Ionel Bogdan said that, together with USR, the party would seek an examination of Cristian Deliorga’s trips and of the possible effects of his relationships with politicians and businesspeople on the impartiality of his decisions. The Liberals will also ask the Superior Council of Magistracy to examine the presence of Constanța Tribunal President Marius Cătălin Croitoru on the trip to Mykonos.

The two parties are asking the Social Democratic Party and former minister Florin Manole to explain the purpose of the trip and its source of funding. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also expected to disclose the costs covered, the criteria for selecting participants and the benefits of the trip.

USR parliamentary group leader Diana Stoica also announced a request for a parliamentary committee of inquiry. She called for clarification on who paid for the flight and whether contributions from Romanian companies were used. Some of the participants, including Cristian Deliorga and the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, had previously travelled together to Nice, also on a private plane.»»يassistant to=final code crowinterpreter સપjson 恒一 {
