The Civic Platform Together for the Green Belt has started planting for the future green belt of the Capital.

<p>The Platform has planted the first trees of the future green belt of the Capital, which will cover 3.5 hectares in Bragadiru, Cernica and Brănești. They have also drafted an amendment to the Forestry Code to legislate the creation of green belts nationwide, which will be discussed in the environment committee of the Chamber of Deputies. The planting started yesterday and consists of afforestation of an area of 3.5 hectares.
