The A10 Auction House by Artmark will organize on December 19th the 'Christmas Auction - Jewelry and Decorative Art in Gold and Silver', where items that belonged to Nicolae Ceaușescu will be displayed, including a Monthal pocket watch, received in 1962, with a starting price of 1,500 euros. Among other notable items are protocol gifts from Emperor Hirohito and former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, such as silver frames decorated with the imperial crest of Japan.


The auction will also include 19th-century jewelry, such as a rose gold brooch with diamonds (starting at 1,300 euros) and a solitaire diamond ring (starting at 700 euros). Other luxury jewelry, such as necklaces and rings with diamonds and sapphires, will have varied starting prices, reaching up to 22,000 euros. The exhibitions are open to the public with free entry at the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace, daily between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
