Pension employees have announced that they will no longer work overtime or weekends, after working 12-14 hours a day for the "big recalculation" without rewards, losing on average 600 lei a month. Union leaders have discussed the difficult working conditions and extreme stress with the labor minister, stressing that the system is understaffed and dysfunctional. There are fears that refusing to work overtime could lead to a work stoppage in the sector.
