The Pakistani Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, stated on Saturday that the United States and Iran have reached a peace agreement to end the conflict in the Middle East, which has been ongoing for several months. The final text of the agreement has been established, and Pakistan, as a mediator, is preparing for the electronic signing of the agreement, expected within the next 24 hours.
Technical discussions will take place next week. On Friday, U.S. officials indicated that an agreement is close, but on the same day, the U.S. shot down Iranian drones targeting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Switzerland has offered to host the signing of the agreement, and a G7 summit, which will be attended by Donald Trump, will begin on Monday in France. Tehran mentioned that the protocol of the agreement will be signed 'remotely' once finalized.
